Hi! I’m Liam from Nampula, 25, and I’ve planned a week and a half in Burkina Faso for December 2028. Rough itinerary: Sindou, Ouagadougou, Bobo-Dioulasso, Banfora. Essentially, it's about a round trip – so lots of culture, a bit of rock climbing, and if time permits, markets too. I prefer accommodation to be small and personal, more like a guesthouse than large hotels. It’s important to me not to tick off everything: I’d rather stay put in one place if it feels right, explore local markets, and chat with people. I’m relaxed, an early riser, and enjoy sitting at a table in the evening with a glass of wine or tea. Language-wise, Portuguese is no problem. I’m looking for a travel buddy – we don’t have to be together 24/7. Sharing meals, spending a day together, or going on a hike together is perfectly fine.
