The core focus is on a circular tour – so, lots of the Silk Road, a bit of architecture, and if time permits, mountains too. I prefer accommodation to be small and personal, more like a boutique hotel than a large resort. It's important to me not to just tick boxes: I'd rather linger in a place if it feels right, explore local markets, and strike up conversations with people.
