The core is about a round trip – so lots of monasteries, a bit of beach, and if there's time, hiking too. I like accommodation to be small and personal, more like a hotel than large resorts. It's important to me not to tick boxes: rather linger in a place if it feels right, explore local markets, strike up conversations with people. I'm relaxed, up early, and enjoy evenings at a table with a glass of wine or tea. Language-wise, French is fine. I'm looking for a travel companion – we don't have to be together 24/7.
