China in September – Lijiang, Shangri-La & Tiger Leaping Gorge

Hello! I'm David, 31, from Corossol (St. Barthélemy). China has been on my list for years – now it's becoming concrete: in September 2028, I'll have two and a half weeks off and am planning a round trip with stops in Lijiang, Shangri-La, Tiger Leaping Gorge, and a few other places. Interests on site: hiking, culture, tea. Accommodation preferably guesthouse, no package deals, no rigidly scheduled program. I like to plan roughly and leave days open, enjoy getting up early and having a coffee with a view. I can manage with French, but would prefer someone who speaks English too.
