Switzerland in July – Lauterbrunnen, Zermatt & Zurich

Ayubowan! I'm Diya from Ella, 31 years old, and I've planned a week and a half in Switzerland for July 2028. Rough route: Lauterbrunnen, Zermatt, Zurich, Interlaken. The core of the trip is hiking – so, lots of mountains, a bit of trekking, and if time permits, train journeys too. I prefer small and personal accommodation, more like hostels than big hotels. It's important to me not to tick everything off a list: I prefer to linger in a place if it feels right, explore local markets, and chat with people. I'm relaxed, up early, and in the evening, I enjoy sitting at a table with a glass of wine or tea. Linguistically, Sinhala, Tamil, and English are no problem. I'm looking for a travel buddy – we don't have to be together 24/7. Sharing meals, spending a day together, or doing a hike together is perfectly enough.
