North Macedonia in September – Ohrid, Bitola & Mavrovo

Hi! I'm Sam, 30, from Frederiksted (US Virgin Islands). North Macedonia has been on my list for years – now it's getting serious: in September 2028, I have 8 days off and am planning a round trip with stops in Ohrid, Bitola, Mavrovo, and a few other places. My interests there include lakes, monasteries, and hiking. I prefer guesthouses, no package deals, and no packed schedules. I like to plan broadly and leave days open, enjoy getting up early and having a coffee with a view. I speak English.
