Turkmenistan in December – Darvaza, Mary & Konye-Urgench

Hi! I'm Naomi, 30, from Johannesburg (South Africa). Turkmenistan has been on my list for years – now it's becoming concrete: in December 2028, I'll have 8 days off and am planning a guided trip with stops in Darvaza, Mary, Konye-Urgench, and a few other places. Interests there: desert, architecture, unique sights. Accommodation preferably in hotels, no package tours, no tightly scheduled program. I like to plan roughly and leave days open, enjoy getting up early and having a coffee with a view. Language-wise, English works.
