The core of it is a guided trip – so lots of gorillas, a bit of volcanoes, and if time permits, hiking too. I like accommodation that's small and personal, more lodges than big hotels. It's important to me not to tick everything off: rather stay in one place if it feels right, explore local markets, strike up conversations with people. I'm relaxed, up early, and happy in the evening with a glass of wine or tea at the table. Linguistically, Swahili/English are no problem.
