Hello everyone! I'll be in the Karwendel region for a week at the end of July and will be doing moderate hikes there. This is possible alone, but it's more fun with company to enjoy the impressions together. Moderate means: 3-6 hours, a maximum of 15 km and 600 meters in altitude, preferably with a stop at an alpine hut/mountain hut. This can be a bit more if interested, but I'm no longer up for strenuous treks. If anyone else is there and interested in a day tour together, feel free to get in touch. To elaborate further: I've been regularly hiking in the Alps for decades and have also done multi-day tours, but I'll only be doing trails marked as blue or red in hiking guides from now on. 4-6 weeks on top of the world, in and around Kyrgyzstan. The Pamir, Lake Issyk-Kul, amazing canyons in Kazakhstan and the wonderful mountain world of Altai. A detour to Fergana or Samarkand, why not? Rental car, a bit of hiking, public transport, just pack your backpack/suitcase and off you go. Culture, nature, local cuisine, some fresh air. Life should be enjoyable.
