Hello! I'm Joel from Geneva, 34 years old, and I've planned two weeks in Cambodia for January 2028. Rough itinerary: Battambang, Kep, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh. The core idea is a round trip – so lots of temples, a bit of history, and if time permits, also beaches. I prefer small and personal accommodation, more hostels than large hotels. It's important to me not to tick everything off a list: I'd rather linger in a place if it feels right, explore local markets, and strike up conversations with people. I'm easy-going, an early riser, and happy to sit down with a glass of wine or a cup of tea in the evening. Language-wise, I'm fluent in German, French, and English. I'm looking for a travel buddy – we don't have to be together 24/7. Sharing meals, spending a day together, or doing a hike together is perfectly enough.
