Hi everyone! I'm JayJay, 42, athletic and easy-going, and I plan to travel to Sardinia. I'm planning a short but intensive break of 5 to 6 days at the end of August/beginning of September. Since shared experiences are simply more beautiful, I'm looking for a travel buddy this way. I love water sports like stand-up paddling, hiking, and exploring nature on foot is high on my list. Sudden wish to experience Tuscany! Tuscany has been calling me lately. What’s particularly important to me: Diet: Vegan/vegetarian food without any ifs or buts – there’s no wavering on that (I still accept eggs from happy chickens and occasionally fresh caught wild fish). Gluten-free would be ideal. Environment & Accommodation: I want to see cypresses nearby, a saltwater pool, and hills. I don’t want to see innocent animals kept in mass herds. The building can be in an old style – simple, but clean. Lodging: Separate rooms are an absolute must! About you as a travel companion: Your age doesn't matter to me at all (preferably from 45, but not a must). I don't want foot fetishists, nor dominant or totally submissive travel companions. Also, a love of life or a relationship is outside my plan. It should proceed without obligations, expectations, pressure, or any kind of reciprocation. You can be quiet, relaxed, amusing, balanced, empathetic, spiritual, and think outside the box. Everyone should have their personal space if they want it. You can also work online now and then; I can manage perfectly well on my own. Generous gentlemen of the "Old School" are welcome. You can be easy-going and well-groomed – how you look doesn't matter to me at all. Period & Location: I would like to go from early to late September for 8, at most 9 days, preferably by plane. The organic hotel Agrivilla i pini would be great, but it’s not a must. A little about me: Obligatory age mid-40s, very slim, I exercise, love nature and wildlife, traveling, and a plant-based, healthy diet. I am well-groomed, easy-going, full of life, and bring a lot of life experience with me; profound conversations are just my thing. Psychology, subconscious, consciousness, development, growth, mentoring, body language, rhetoric – all of this is my thing, and my whole world revolves around these topics. Hello, I am looking for an open-minded and active travel companion for a holiday in Central Italy, as a good friend unfortunately had to cancel. The outward and return journeys are already fixed (unfortunately I can no longer postpone the holiday): departure from Speyer Nord on 15.08., return on 29.08. Both Saturdays, so few to no trucks and therefore very pleasant to drive. Destination: Stroncone (Southern Umbria): two small holiday homes are available there free of charge, so everyone has their own house and a place to retreat. I will provide a comfortable car for the journey. For me, the holiday already begins with the drive to Italy (my home country). Passing Lucerne, you go to the beautiful east side of Lake Lucerne (panorama route); after the lake, from Amsteg, you drive off the motorway again via the Gotthard Pass. On site, there are many possibilities: visit many old castle towns, attend a medieval village festival with parades and fireworks, a large waterfall with many hiking trails, great mountain tours (three two-thousand-meter peaks), enjoy delicious local food, or even go out. There are two large lakes about 1 hour's drive from Stroncone, as well as thermal springs. The sea is also not far away. Stroncone is extremely centrally located: many places are easily accessible from there (Spoleto, Assisi, Perugia, etc.). Among others, Narni: name-giver of the Chronicles of Narnia and geographical center of Italy. Rome is also not too far away. Costs: only share petrol, Italian motorway tolls, and parking costs. I'm a 73-year-old retiree and have been trying to learn Italian for 12 years. But without enough opportunity to practice the language, it's not working. Hence the following idea: A few (2 to 6) Italian enthusiasts get together and spend 2 weeks in October in Northern Italy (Friuli, Veneto, Alto Adige, Lombardia, Emilia Romagna). We rent a holiday home in the countryside, e.g., an agriturismo, with enough rooms. Travel by car so we are mobile and can go on excursions. Daily schedule by agreement, e.g., 1 hour of speaking only Italian daily, joint language study and learning from a textbook or similar. So, I myself am far from being able to converse fluently in Italian. Any kind of entry-level is welcome. The main thing is no weirdos, big mouths, or radicals dyed blue… Culinary delights should also not be neglected.
