Last-minute holiday in September

Aykut, 27 (Nwoke) na-achọ female travel companion

Hello, my name is Aykut and I would like to travel in September. I would like to go to a beautiful place with a good all-inclusive hotel. I find Turkey particularly suitable for this, as it offers beautiful beaches, pleasant weather and many great hotels. It is important to me that the hotel is comfortable and offers good catering. I also want to relax during my holiday, enjoy the sun and perhaps visit some sights. I would be very happy about recommendations for suitable destinations and hotels in Turkey. Thank you in advance for your help and advice with my travel planning.

Looking for a travel buddy for a 2-week beach/surf holiday

Christopher, 31 (Nwoke) na-achọ female travel partners

I'm just looking for someone who is adventurous, humorous, open-minded, and loves water, just like me. Since my friends don't have time during that period and I don't want to travel completely alone, I want to find someone through this platform who will jet off with me to Morocco or Italy for about 2 weeks starting mid-September to simply explore a lot on site, surf, and enjoy the sea and the atmosphere. I am of course also open to discovering the nightlife and connecting further. I just want to have a good time for 2 weeks. If you have another cool travel suggestion, I'm also open to it, but I would also love to travel to Morocco, perhaps towards Taghazout. I look forward to hearing from you. Christopher

Exactly you I'm looking for for Egypt in January 2027

Daniel, 63 (Nwoke) na-achọ female travel companion

It's simply more fun as a couple! I'm looking for you, someone who would also like to spend a week in January in the sun, warmth, and by the sea. I've already booked my room in Marsa Alam right by the sea. Now it would be lovely if someone would accompany me. Lying on the beach together, walking, eating together, and letting the evening wind down. I paid 800.- for the flight and hotel (All Inclusive). Departure from Zurich on January 17th at 06:30 AM. I would gladly support you with 500.- Fr. if you would accompany me. We will look at, discuss, and arrange everything else in detail beforehand. I look forward to hearing from you. Daniel

New Year's Eve in Gambia

Chris, 62 (Nwoke) na-achọ female travel companion

I'm looking for a travel buddy for Gambia to bridge the darkest days and brighten up my spirits. Swimming, hiking, river trips, exploring urban life and nature, or just hanging out at the beach. Absolutely fine if you want to go your separate ways sometimes on vacation. Prefer a good hotel. Total costs for 10 days approx. 1000 pP with cost sharing. (Flight + Hotel). A car won't be necessary due to the country's size. Vaccination not necessary in my opinion, but check. Flights currently unfortunately only with a layover of around 15h. (e.g. Barcelona with an overnight stay). Looking forward to every message with a brief info about you and your ideas to Mannomann23@gmx.net

Just get away

Nick, 34 (Nwoke) na-achọ female travel buddy

Hey, I'm Nick, 34 from NRW. I'm looking for someone to go camping with in September or another period, or perhaps a city trip with a hotel, beach holiday, or even naturism. I'm quite flexible. Whether we go to Amsterdam for a few days, Zandvoort, Berlin, or maybe 10 days in France, Italy, Spain, or wherever else doesn't really matter to me. The main thing is to get away. We can also fly somewhere. However, hanging out in a hotel for 10 days isn't really my thing. I'm quite adventurous but also enjoy hiking or spending a day at the beach. But I also like a bit of adventure and just chilling out, completely without stress or time pressure. I'd be happy if someone gets in touch. Origin, gender, and so on are of course completely irrelevant. Nevertheless, it would be cool if we could chat a bit before a trip together, or perhaps even meet up for a drink. Get in touch even if September doesn't work out, but you or you guys are interested in another period. Or even for a cool trip next year. Just get in touch. You can also reach me via Telegram: Eniceka92

Portugal Road Trip (or a better idea from you)

Daniel, 36 (Nwoke) na-achọ female travel companion

Hello everyone :-) I'm primarily looking for a travel companion for a road trip through Portugal. However, if you have an even better idea, then go for it. We can always do Portugal another time. ;-) My travel dates are more or less set. I need to use up my remaining vacation days by the end of April. Since my colleague has already expressed interest in traveling right after Easter and traveling any earlier would involve significant weather risks, the best time would be the last week of April to the beginning of May. I was thinking about 10-14 days, but I'm not fixed on that either. I'm 36, work as a financial advisor at a bank, and therefore enjoy traveling (my sedentary job needs some balance). Since I don't like traveling alone, I need a travel companion. That's where you come in. My expectations for a vacation are as follows: trying local cuisine, discovering new places, also relaxing sometimes and not just action, no low-budget vacation (so no hostels or the like). I've already done a few road trips, so I have some experience. I'm also happy to drive during the vacation while you enjoy the view as a passenger. It's also important to me that we can laugh together and are somehow on the same wavelength. Therefore, it's probably advisable to meet up beforehand. I'm also more of a person who explores cities on foot. So, 20,000 steps shouldn't be your limit. The only thing I won't do are things at unsecured heights. So, things like mountain climbing or ridge hiking. I tend to avoid cable cars too, if I can. Otherwise, I'm open to exploring off the beaten path. :-) If this has piqued your interest, feel free to write to me. Best regards, Daniel

Mountains, lakes or sea... Where are you going in September?

Christoph, 32 (Nwoke) na-achọ female travel companions

Hi there! I have time off from August 31st to September 15th for two weeks and don't have a concrete plan yet for where I might go. I'm open to any destination that's feasible within that short time. Access to nature is important to me. That means I'd love to go to the mountains, a lake, or the sea. I'm open to any suggestion, but I've also had a few ideas myself: - Southern Sweden by a lake with a cabin and kayak - Hiking in Andalusia - Train trip to the Braslav Lakes in northern Belarus - Train trip through Romania and Moldova - Hiking in the Caucasus in Georgia - Hiking in Hunza in northern Pakistan with a bus ride over the Karakoram Highway - Hiking/Road trip through Washington State/USA starting in Seattle All these ideas are still feasible and affordable in the short planning phase, and the month of September is also considered a good travel month. Of course, I'm also open to other destinations! Relaxation shouldn't be neglected during the trip either. A few days to take it easy is welcome ;) A little about me: I'm a train driver from Dresden, live alone, and love to travel. I'm a very easy-going and empathetic person who can also be willing to compromise. Furthermore, humor and positivity are important to me. So if you're interested, feel free to write to me! See you then, Chris :)

City trip to Istanbul

Oliver, 34 (Nwoke) na-achọ female travel companions

Hi! I'm a curious, open-minded person who loves discovering new things and collecting memories rather than possessions. I'm interested in other cultures, good food, and exciting conversations. Humor, openness, and mutual respect are important to me – I enjoy meeting new people and am happy to embrace the unexpected spontaneously. From 08/08/2026 to 15/08/2026, I'll be on a city trip in Istanbul. My plan is to soak up as much of the city as possible: experience impressive culture and history, try the best local dishes, stroll through different neighborhoods, and enjoy the atmosphere. But I'm just as excited to chat with locals or other travelers and get to know Istanbul from their perspective. If you're also there during this time or feel like doing something together, whether it's sightseeing, trying street food, visiting a café, or just walking through the city, I'd be happy to hear from you. Exploring a fascinating city is often even more fun together.

Kenya: Safari and Beach

Matthias, 44 (Nwoke) na-achọ female travel partners

Hello everyone, my wife and I would love to go to Kenya next year in February. We found some really great travel offers that combine safari and beach. Yes, and for that, we are still looking for friendly travel companions. :) We found the coolest trips as private trips for small groups and not as trips that are booked with a fixed date. So it comes that we have now become active here. We are in our late 30s / early 40s and would be happy about a few travel companions around our age. Ideally living somewhere between Mainz and Koblenz. Then we can get to know each other beforehand and see if the chemistry is right. We look forward to hearing from someone. :)

Hike, mountain tour or via ferrata

Raphael, 32 (Nwoke) na-achọ female travel companion

I, Raphael, 32 years old, am looking for someone this summer, August to October 2026, who fancies an active holiday in the mountains. Whether hiking, mountaineering, hut-to-hut tours, or via ferrata, I'm open to everything. I have experience with via ferratas up to difficulty E (Ötztal, Lehner Wasserfall, left variant) - but that doesn't mean you have to be. I've also had people with me several times who had never done it before. If you'd like to try via ferrata sometime - get in touch! People before peaks - no daredevil stunts, I want to be back safely in the valley in the evening without a helicopter! Ideally, there should also be time for Kaiserschmarrn on the alpine pasture, I don't plan to set any records. And a day for lazing around/chilling is also allowed :) I come from Swabia, south of Stuttgart, and have a car. I consider getting to know each other beforehand - even if only online - absolutely necessary. If you also enjoy being out and about in the mountains, I look forward to your message.

Travel Companion for Florida Road Trip & Disney

Michael, 56 (Nwoke) na-achọ female travel companions

I (m, 55, non-smoker, from the Karlsruhe area) am looking for uncomplicated, nice, and empathetic travel companions for future Florida road trips (nothing is planned/booked yet, starting from 2027). I'm seeking a travel partner for a trip for two, or even a small group. I've traveled to the Sunshine State multiple times since 2002 on self-planned and organized rental car road trips and know the area very well. My usual travel months are November and/or February. My interests are as diverse as the possibilities in Florida. The natural paradise of the Everglades is an absolute must, as are the theme parks (Disney / Universal) in Orlando. I'd also be interested in a few days' cruise towards the Bahamas or Caribbean. Of course, getting to know each other beforehand is highly desirable. I look forward to your messages and inquiries!

Hi everyone! I'm planning a trip to Thailand soon and am looking for a friendly and easy-going travel buddy to explore this fantastic country together! For me, the perfect trip is the right mix of: Parties & Going Out: Hitting the town, checking out rooftop bars, experiencing beach parties, or simply enjoying the evening with a cool drink. Culture & Sightseeing: Discovering impressive temples, markets, nature, and local cuisine. Relaxing: Just lying on the beach for a day, chilling out, and doing nothing. I'm absolutely open to anything and don't need a 24/7 meticulously planned itinerary – spontaneity is just part of my holiday! You should be open-minded, have a sense of humor, and appreciate a good balance between action and relaxation. If this appeals to you, just send me a message! We can chat briefly or have a call/video call beforehand to see if we're on the same wavelength.

Hello everyone, I'm planning a road trip through Central Asia for mid-August. The trip starts on August 16th/17th in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. These would be Kyrgyzstan - Kazakhstan - Tajikistan - Uzbekistan. The travel period is from August 16th to approximately September 2nd. The trip ends in Bishkek! We can meet in Bishkek or fly together from Cologne. Anyone who wants to join and is eager to experience an exciting and adventurous journey with me is welcome. The route is flexible and can be further shaped together with me. The goal is to see a bit of all four countries, experience adventure, freedom, and nature. We will camp or sleep in the car and, if possible, also use accommodations. I'm looking forward to adventurous travel companions! Alex

Why Connect with a Male Travel Partner?

Traveling with a male companion can offer a unique set of advantages. For starters, there's the comfort of shared perspectives. You might find that discussing historical sites, navigating local transport, or even choosing where to eat feels more intuitive with someone who understands your general outlook. Sharing an interest in specific sports, like following a local football match in Europe or catching a baseball game in the US, can become a highlight of the trip, turning a solo experience into a shared passion project.

Practicalities also play a big role. Sharing costs for accommodation, particularly in cities where hotel rooms can be pricey, makes longer or more ambitious trips financially feasible. If you're planning a road trip, having someone to share driving shifts can significantly increase the distance you can cover comfortably each day and reduce fatigue. This division of labor extends to planning too; bouncing ideas off each other for itineraries or researching local attractions can make the preparation process more enjoyable and thorough.

Beyond the practical, there’s the simple joy of companionship. While solo travel has its merits, having someone to share a laugh with after a long day of sightseeing, to try that adventurous local dish with, or to simply have a conversation with during a quiet evening can profoundly enhance the travel experience. It’s about mutual support, shared discovery, and building a stronger connection with the places you visit and the person you’re with. This community is here to help you find that person.

Finding Your Match on urlaubspartner.net

Our platform at urlaubspartner.net is built to make connecting easy and efficient. When you create your profile, be specific about what you're looking for. Mention destinations you’re interested in (e.g., 'dreaming of hiking in Patagonia' or 'interested in exploring historical sites in Greece'), preferred travel styles (e.g., 'budget backpacking', 'comfortable hotels with some local experiences', 'adventure sports focus'), and the timeframe you have in mind. The more detail you provide, the better chance others will have of understanding if you’re a good fit.

Browse through profiles of other male members. Look for shared interests beyond just travel. Do you both enjoy photography? Are you keen on trying local cuisine, or do you prefer sticking to more familiar food? Do you like early starts to maximize your day, or are you more of a relaxed morning person? These details matter for day-to-day compatibility. Read their descriptions carefully and see if their travel aspirations resonate with yours. Pay attention to their past travel experiences if they’ve shared them.

Once you find someone who seems promising, don't hesitate to send a message. Keep your initial messages friendly and focused on travel. You could say something like, 'Hi [Name], I saw you're interested in visiting South America next year. I've been looking at options for Peru, specifically around Cusco. Have you thought about your itinerary yet?' This opens the door for conversation without being intrusive. Building a connection takes time, so be patient and genuine in your interactions.

Planning Your Trip Together: Key Conversations

Once you've connected with a potential travel buddy and decided you want to plan a trip, open communication is crucial. Start by discussing your overall travel vision. What kind of experience are you both seeking? Is it relaxation, adventure, cultural immersion, or a mix? For example, one person might envision quiet evenings reading in a charming European village, while the other wants to experience the nightlife in a major city. Aligning these broad expectations early prevents misunderstandings later.

Next, get down to the practicalities. Talk about budgets. Be honest about what you’re comfortable spending on accommodation, food, activities, and transportation. Agreeing on a general budget range helps in choosing destinations and booking suitable lodging. Discuss travel pace. Do you like to pack your days with activities, moving from one sight to the next, or do you prefer a slower pace with time for spontaneous exploration? Decide if you're okay with separate hotel rooms sometimes or if sharing is preferred and budgeted for.

Discuss your interests and non-negotiables. Are there specific activities one of you really wants to do that the other might find less appealing? For instance, if you're planning a trip to Thailand, one person might be set on island hopping, while the other is more interested in the temples and markets of the north. Find compromises. Perhaps dedicate specific days to each person’s interests, or research activities that offer a blend of both. This early planning phase is vital for ensuring you both have a fantastic trip.

Safety First: Traveling with a Companion

While traveling with a partner generally enhances safety, it’s still important to be mindful. Always trust your gut feeling. If something feels off about a potential travel buddy, even after chatting online, it’s okay to back out. You don't owe anyone an explanation beyond a polite 'I don't think we're the right fit for this trip.' Your safety and comfort are paramount.

When you first meet a potential travel buddy you’ve connected with online, especially if you're meeting them in person before a trip, choose a public place like a coffee shop or a busy park. This allows you to gauge their personality and comfort level in a low-pressure environment. Don't share too much personal information, like your home address or detailed financial information, until you’ve established a good level of trust.

During the trip itself, maintain some level of independence. While sharing experiences is great, it’s wise to occasionally do things separately. This could be as simple as taking a solo walk through a neighborhood that interests you or visiting a museum at your own pace. It’s also a good idea to keep your own emergency contacts updated and know how to reach them. Informing a friend or family member back home about your itinerary and your travel companion’s details (if you feel comfortable sharing) can provide an extra layer of security. Remember, a travel buddy is there to enhance the journey, not create risks.

Destinations Perfect for Male Travel Duos

Certain destinations lend themselves particularly well to male travel partnerships. Consider countries with strong outdoor adventure scenes. New Zealand, for example, offers incredible hiking, bungee jumping, and kayaking, activities that are often more fun and safer with a companion. Renting a car and exploring the stunning landscapes from Queenstown to Milford Sound becomes a shared adventure.

Southeast Asia is another popular region. Backpacking through Thailand, Vietnam, or Cambodia can be incredibly rewarding. Sharing the cost of tuk-tuks, navigating bustling markets like Chatuchak in Bangkok, and enjoying street food together are classic experiences. The region also offers a range of accommodation from budget hostels to comfortable guesthouses, allowing you to tailor your trip to your shared budget.

For those interested in history and culture, Europe offers endless possibilities. A road trip through the Scottish Highlands, exploring the ancient ruins in Rome, or visiting the historic cafes of Prague can be immensely enjoyable with a friend. Imagine yourselves discussing the intricacies of the Colosseum or the grandeur of Edinburgh Castle. Even urban exploration, like finding the best ramen shops in Tokyo or navigating the metro system in Paris, is easier and more engaging with someone by your side. The key is choosing a place that aligns with your shared interests and desired pace.

Common Interests and Activities to Explore

Finding a travel buddy is often about more than just the destination; it's about shared passions. Think about what you enjoy doing in your free time and how that translates to travel. If you're a foodie, plan trips around culinary hotspots. Explore the street food scene in Mexico City, take a pasta-making class in Bologna, or sample craft beers in Portland. Searching for the best local eateries can become a central theme of your journey.

For the sports enthusiasts, planning a trip around a major sporting event can be thrilling. Catching a football match in the UK, attending a Formula 1 race in Monaco, or even following a cricket series in Australia offers a unique travel experience. Beyond major events, simply visiting iconic sports stadiums or local sports bars in different cities can be a fun way to connect with a place and your companion.

If you’re into the outdoors, consider destinations offering hiking, climbing, or water sports. Trekking in the Dolomites, exploring the national parks of Canada, or trying surfing in Portugal are activities best enjoyed with someone to share the challenge and the views. Even interests like photography, visiting art galleries, exploring historical sites, or attending live music venues can form the basis of a great travel plan. When you connect with someone on urlaubspartner.net, discuss these interests openly to ensure you're planning a trip that excites both of you.

Packing Smart for Your Shared Adventure

Packing efficiently is essential when traveling with someone else, especially if you're sharing luggage space or trying to keep things light. Start by coordinating. Avoid bringing duplicates of large items like toiletries or first-aid kits if you're comfortable sharing. Have a conversation about who will pack what shared essentials. This saves space and weight in your bags.

Think about the climate and activities planned. If you're heading to Scandinavia in winter, layers are key. A good base layer, an insulating middle layer (like fleece), and a waterproof outer shell will cover most needs. For warmer climates, lightweight, breathable fabrics like cotton or linen are best. Don't forget essentials like sunscreen, insect repellent, and a basic medical kit, even if your companion is also packing some. Adapters and power banks are also crucial if you plan on using multiple electronic devices.

Consider versatility. Choose clothing items that can be mixed and matched to create different outfits. A pair of comfortable walking shoes is non-negotiable, regardless of your destination. Also, pack a small daypack for excursions away from your main accommodation. This can hold water, snacks, a camera, and a jacket. Finally, always leave a little space for souvenirs or items you might pick up along the way. Smart packing means less hassle and more enjoyment of your trip.

Making the Most of Your Travel Buddy Experience

The real magic of traveling with a buddy from urlaubspartner.net happens when you embrace the shared journey. Be flexible. While planning is important, sometimes the best experiences are spontaneous. If your travel partner suggests a detour to a local market or a different route, be open to it. This adaptability is key to a smooth and enjoyable trip for both of you.

Respect each other's space and needs. Even the best travel companions need some downtime. Allow for periods where you might do your own thing, whether it's reading a book, catching up on emails, or simply enjoying a quiet moment. This prevents burnout and ensures you both feel refreshed.

Practice active listening and empathy. When your companion shares an experience or a concern, really listen. Show understanding and offer support. Traveling together can sometimes bring out unexpected challenges, and a supportive attitude goes a long way. Celebrate the small wins too – finding a fantastic local restaurant, successfully navigating a complex transit system, or sharing a breathtaking view. These shared moments become the core memories of your adventure. Ultimately, a successful trip is built on mutual respect, open communication, and a shared sense of adventure.
