Portugal Road Trip (or a better idea from you)

Hello everyone :-) I'm primarily looking for a travel companion for a Portugal road trip. However, if you have an even better idea, then let it out. Portugal can always be done again. ;-) My travel period is more or less set. I have to take my remaining vacation by the end of April. Since my colleague has already registered interest for directly after Easter and traveling any earlier involves significant weather risks, it would be the last week of April to early May. I had envisioned about 10-14 days, but I'm not fixed on that either. I'm 36, work as a financial advisor at a bank, and therefore enjoy traveling (my sedentary job needs a balance). Since I don't like traveling alone, I need a travel companion. That's where you come in. My expectations for a vacation are as follows: trying local cuisine, discovering new places, also relaxing sometimes and not just action, no low-budget vacation (so no hostels or the like). I've already done a few road trips, which is why I have some experience. I'm happy to drive during the vacation, and you can enjoy the view as a passenger. It's also important to me that we can laugh together and somehow be on the same wavelength. Therefore, it's certainly advisable to meet beforehand. I'm also more of a person who explores cities on foot. So, 20,000 steps shouldn't be your limit. The only thing I won't do are things at unsecured heights. So, like mountaineering or ridge hikes. I even tend to avoid cable cars if I can. Otherwise, I'm happy to go over hill and dale. :-) If this has piqued your interest, feel free to write to me. Best regards, Daniel
