Travel companion wanted – experience the solar eclipse in Spain together

In August, a special natural event is coming up: On August 12th, a solar eclipse will be visible in Northern Spain. I would incredibly love to experience this event not alone, but together with someone who is just as keen on traveling, nature, and new impressions. My idea is to leave at the beginning of August and spend a few days beforehand on the Atlantic coast in France or Northern Spain. Time by the sea, strolling through small towns, hiking, enjoying the landscape, and discovering beautiful places along the way. Afterwards, we'll continue towards Northern Spain to witness the solar eclipse – a moment when the sky suddenly darkens is something you don't see often in life. I enjoy traveling flexibly and relaxed. Depending on the situation, I would stay in a tent or a vacation apartment/Airbnb. Especially around the solar eclipse, I'd like to go camping, as it makes sense to be a bit spontaneous to find the best viewing spot. About me: I'm 34, live in the north of Germany, and am very experienced in traveling. I'm on the road quite often – I spend about 100 nights a year traveling, whether it's for longer tours, co-working or co-living stays, or simply to discover new regions. For me, travel primarily means curiosity and discovery. I love finding special places, exploring small villages, hiking through beautiful landscapes, or simply stopping spontaneously somewhere if a place looks interesting. Often, it's precisely the unexpected places off the beaten tourist paths that make a trip special. My travel partners so far say about my trips: "It never gets boring with you." At the same time, I also enjoy quiet moments, e.g., sitting by the sea, letting the landscape sink in, or simply having a relaxed evening after an eventful day. Also traveling with me are two very experienced dogs who are used to traveling, new places, and people and usually connect quickly with others, but are rather distant towards people (not cuddly dogs). I'm driving to France / Spain by car and still have space for one more person and a dog up to approx. 20kg. I could pick you up from Hamburg, Bremen, or Cologne. About you: You are reliable, flexible, open to new things, and connected to nature, you're keen on a mix of nature, little discovery tours, and relaxed moments by the sea, and you find the idea of experiencing a solar eclipse together just as fascinating.
