Salam! I'm Ananya from Gilgit, 30 years old, and I've planned two weeks in Laos for January 2028. Rough itinerary: Vang Vieng, Nong Khiaw, Luang Prabang, Vientiane. The core is about a circular trip – so a lot of Mekong, a bit of temples, and if time permits, also hiking. I like accommodation to be small and personal, more guesthouses than big hotels. It's important to me not to tick everything off the list: rather linger in a place if it feels right, explore local markets, get into conversations with people. I'm relaxed, up early, and in the evening happy to sit at a table with a glass of wine or a tea. Language-wise, German/English is no problem.
